Topical use

Clean the wound with saline solution. Remove excess moisture with gauze. Apply a uniform Regederm layer directly on the wound (it is allowed to go beyond its edges). After applying Regederm, cover the area with gauze or any other secondary dressing. The dressing must be changed daily or at the doctor’s discretion.

Taking into account that the cases in which Regederm use is indicated vary greatly in intensity, the patients should seek help from a health professional to properly adjust the applications for their case. But the following recommendations are necessary: Dry and compact crust, if present, may or may not be removed before using Regederm, at the health professional discretion; Regederm must be in direct contact with the wound; if any necrotic debris are accumulated on the wound, they can be removed or will come out automatically when changing the dressing.

Precauções:

It must not be used by patients with known sensitivity to the components.

It must not be used in ulcers with signs of neoplasia or neoplastic wounds.

Be especially cautious for patients who have shown allergy to latex derivatives (from which the Hevea brasiliensis serum is extracted), evidenced by hypersensitivity to natural rubber derived products, such as gloves and condoms.

Occasionally, people with allergies to some fruits (such as papayas, figs, bananas, avocados, kiwi fruits, peaches, pineapples, melons, and chestnuts) may be allergic to latex. Get medical advice in case of severe allergic reaction, if it does not improve after 14 days, or if signs of infection appear.

From clinical studies conducted to date, there is insufficient evidence to confirm the presence of drug interactions.

No studies have proven safety in use around the eyes. Avoid product contact with this area. If this occurs, wash your eyes with plenty of water and visit your doctor.

Reações Adversas:

SOME PEOPLE MAY FEEL PAIN AND BURNING DURING TREATMENT. THIS MAY BE RELATED TO THE WOUND TYPE, BUT ALSO TO THE WOUND INFLAMMATORY PROCESS REACTIVATION, WHICH IS A MANDATORY CONDITION TO STARTING THE REPAIR PROCESS. IT IS NOT A TREATMENT INTERRUPTION INDICATION SIGN, EXCEPT IN CASES IN WHICH PAIN IS A LIMITING FACTOR TO PRODUCT USE. IN THIS CASE, SEE A DOCTOR TO DETERMINE THE TREATMENT CONTINUITY OR AN ANALGESIC INDICATION.
